MuVo2 Review

Creative MuVo2

I just got my MuVo2 in the mail, and wow. It’s an impressive product. 4 GB storage space, mp3 or wma compatability, lightweight, 12 hour+ battery life, small form factor, and included charger, earbuds, and USB cable. I’ve already added 750 songs and still have about 1.7 GB of free space. The battery still hasn’t died on me, even when I skip song to song to song and make the HD wear itself out. My only gripes are the lack of on-the-fly playlists, the sad 4-band equalizer, and the tiny navigation button pad. The display, while suprisingly small, is easy to read and backlit.

Damn! You forgot the most important part: how does it sound like playing a HQ MP3 song?!

Let’s see–the Muvo2 has a signal to noise ratio of 98dbm… which is high enough to plug it into my guitar amp without any crossover noise. Apple’s specs are conspicuously missing…

    Hello Elliott:
Does this work from Macs ? If drag and drop is all that is required to move the music over - I can move my mp3s onto this device from a Mac ? Wonder if you tried it.
I am sold on this device even though I use Mac everywhere - the ipod does not quite charm me much - what with having to lug another tuner attachment and voice recording attachment and … All in one device in this case - really appeals to me.

Why is this item so cheap?
