The original article read “Hot Laptops implies 0 Kids” with a link to a wired article. However, since people are actually reading this article looking to buy a laptop/notebook computer for under $500, I thought I’d provide some suggestions:

- Search fatwallet deals for laptop or notebook
- Newegg’s $400 - $500 laptops
