Despite being warned not to do it, a State University of New York at Farmingdale student threw a frozen turkey from a moving vehicle on Nov 13/04. The impact of the frozen turkey critically injuried another driver who is now in rehab after extensive facial reconstruction. Charged with first-degree assault, reckless endangerment, criminal mischief, possession of stolen property and forgery, the student has been released on $250,000 cash bail. He faces a prison term of 5 to 25 years if convicted.
