The “really big” boys get it wrong
Xinhua, China’s official news source, is also available in english. I was looking for more information about the Snow & Ice Festival in Harbin, and I thought I’d search Xinhua english. The search form is friendly enough, so I type in:
Then I hit “search.” After more than 15, but not more than 30, seconds of processing it directs me to this page:
I search for a capital city in China using their English forms and I get back two cats and a Chinese 404?? This is not user friendly…
