If your MuVo2 Shows “Media Error”

Quick Tip: If your Creative MuVo2 shows the error “Media Error” and gets stuck in the console recovery mode, remove all plugs, remove the battery, and then hold down the “menu” button while you restore power. It just might do the trick! Of course, if you’ve replaced its hard drive with another thing… you might be out of luck.

wow man, thanks alot, my muvo stopped working this morning on the bus, it showed the recovery screen blah blah and media error whenever i tried to format it whatsoever. when i came home i plugged it in the pc to format with windows but i ended up trying to reload the firmware, because i wanted to save the files. it didn't work and after that when i tried to connect it to the pc nothing happenned. i searched the web and in the middle of all those get a cheaper 4gb microdrive i found this, i tried and now it connects to the pc again and i'm formatting it with windows. hurray :D

Even if you have replaced the hard drive, there is a work-around -- check out the website.
