More on Blog Explosion

Well, I told you I signed up for Blog Explosion, right? I wanted to try it out for two reasons: to see if I could get any traffic out of it, and to find neat, new blogs. Well, it’s only been a couple of days, and I have 44 referrals so far, more than half of which are active. I was very lucky to have The Unknown Marketer sign up for me, since he has had considerable success with this. His success is my success–and he’s doing a better job than I am. Google ads, a Kubrick blog with nice content: the whole works!

I'm glad you decided to sign up for BlogExplosion because I probably wouldn't have stumbled across your blog any other way, and I've found all kinds of fascinating stuff on your blog. I'll be back!

BlogExplosion is, indeed, interesting. I've managed to rake in at least 200 readers in the past 36 hours.

Now, we need to convert the traffic to profit. I see you have Google ads on your site. Are people clicking them for you?

Hi Ann, Unknown Marketer, thanks for visiting my site! As for the Google adsense ads, I get a few clicks. It's a good start, I guess--the ads don't earn me much, but I hope to set the scene for the future. I've only had this blog for a couple months.

How did you get so many referers? I saw your Adwords ads, but I can't figure out your incredible success!

Elliot, Google doesn't like real numbers being reveiled (it's against their TOS)... so you may want to edit your prior post.

Hey, you're at least making beer money!

As for Adwords, I am paying hardly anything per click and selected keywords that aren't that competitive. I'll prime the pump for a few days to see what comes of it. Hopefully, some of my sign-ups will start surfing and signing others up.

Ah! But that is the BAD thing about MLM. Everyone gets excited by the numbers but fail to follow through with ACTION.

The Google TOS are a mysterious thing....I'm afraid I don't have them memorized in their wholeness. So thanks for the tip, I've removed the numbers. I've never tried any MLM schemes before, so this has me moderately excited. I think I'll try and push the BE thing once every couple weeks...
