Some MSFT Humor

Posted in Computers & Technology, Humour by Elliott Back on January 31st, 2005.

Michael pointed out this very interesting, funny, anecdote. Scoble hasn’t hit a bug in his Tablet PC because he reboots it every evening, for productivity! Check out the quote:

Why haven’t I hit it? I shut down my Tablet PC most evenings and start it up from a fresh boot. Why do I do that? Because I’ve been using computers for 20 years and have learned that’s the best way to work.

For me, the best way to work is the always-on-until-it-dies-or-I-need-to-move-it-somewhere policy…

I agree with the author that a PC should be able to be on for weeks or months without requiring a reboot.
