US Airways: Considerate
USAirways is quite considerate. Today in the mail I just received a $100 voucher because they lost my luggage on their Philadelphia to Ithaca route this Christmas. I got it back the next day by Taxi, but it was quite unexpected. Unfortunately, the same thing has happened again recently when I went to Stamford to conduct an interview with a company there, and I think I will have to write them again…

I used to love US Airways and flew with them exclusively. Over the past two years they have degraded as a company and no longer provide any level of quality customer service. My recent experience is outlined extensively on my website and I have yet to be satisfied by anyone from US Airways.

I will never fly Us Airways and am in the process of informing every family member, friend and associate to do the same!
On May 26, 2007 my husband and I were returning from a Caribbean vacation. Upon disembarking flight 1051 Ft. Lauderdale to Charlotte, NC there were 2 pilots and a member of the flight attendant staff stationed at the exit of the plane. As I was advancing up the aisle, the pilot stated loudly and directly to me “OK, let’s move it. Everbody off. Come on, ‘hoochie mama’, let’s go, move it”, at whcih point he slapped the co-pilot on the back and each of them exploded into uproarious laughter. My husband and I are both professionals in our mid-40’s and each of us were absolutely shocked and disgusted at this sexually and verbally assaultive behavior on the part of a pilot, no less.
I have contacted the airline’s complaint line to no avail, the State of Arizona Attorney General office, Senator John McCain’s office and my own state senator.
I strongly feel it is time consumers took the wheel in this matter. The blogs are full of incidents of civil rights violations and financial wrongdoing on the part of this corporation. And whereever there is this degree of mismanagement, there is most certainly corruption involved. Stop taking it! Contact absolutely every official you can think of to end this fraudlulent, abusive corporations existence!
