AOL Unveils Blogging Service

Posted in Blogging by Elliott Back on March 29th, 2005.

AOL released a new blogging service for Teenagers called “Red Blogs. Unfortunately, Red Blogs is fairly ugly, not at all innovative, and optimized for tiny screen resolutions. Here’s a screen shot of their “top blog:”

They also require you to sign in with an AOL username to view the blogs, which will prevent Google from searching them and regular people from becoming interested. Talk about propietary lock-in!
