If your computer is opening a lot of connections at once, it’s possible that Google’s Adsense javascript will fail to acquire a socket stream to the Adsense server before it times out:

This is one of the dangers of Ajax–client timeouts, client firewalls, client *anything* that interferes with connectivity.
