I seem to get a lot of these recently. Typepad might just be the norm.

    Who scales? Looked at AOL lately? AOL Journals/AIM Blogs — I don’t know what kind of scalability problems they might be having, but AOL has a long history of scaling web systems for tens of millions of users.
