Getting Around in New York City

Posted in Travel by Elliott Back on January 7th, 2006.

If you’ve ever planned a trip to New York, NY, you need to know how to get around. Here’s a few quick tips. First, you’ll be arriving in NY via one of four ways:

1) JFK International Airport
2) La Guardia Airport
3) Port Authority Bus Terminal
4) Grand Central Terminal

With these Google Maps links, you can set your origin location, and then just type in a second address to find a path from them to where you want to go. Taxis are easier, but subways and buses are harder. For those, you’ll need to consult the MTA’s collection of route maps.
