Latest DoTa AI: 6.38b v193b
The latest version of DoTa Allstars AI is DotA Allstars v6.38b AI v1.93b.w3x, which fixes a number of bugs from previous versions:
- New system to prevent bugs on “spreading” spells, e.g. Upheaval, Strygwyr’s Thirst, etc, along with the “killed himself” bug. I’ve been tested this, but found no further bug. Please report if you find one.
- New system on StealhAssassin and hiding Broodmother’s movement.
- New command for team-leaders: “-cauto”. This will turn on/off the team’s auto-changelane/ambush functions. Default is off.
- Using SuperAI as the only gamemode still gives players extra 175 gold.
- Words of “gangbang” are replaced by “ambush”. Read dictionary to know the reason
- Fixed bug on -swaphero with AI.
Unfortunately he says in the post, “However, AI are different. As they cannot think like us, it is hard to program them to even use common items such as Eul and Dagon.” I would think it wouldn’t be too hard to program AI to put items together somewhat intelligently, or at least somewhat randomly, and to let them figure out combos on their own.

You might have heard of the Warcraft III custom map DOTA, otherwise known as Defense of the Ancients. A particular flavour, Dota Allstars, is incredibly popular on Blizzard’s WC3 bNet servers, but getting the latest maps can be a problem because the popular distribution sites are always down. So, if you want to download the latest DOTA, this is the place to find it!
WC3 Banlist, Kick Tool for DoTa
Anybody who plays Dota or another Warcraft III mod on battle.net knows that games are often plagued by griefers, leavers, and other bnet miscreants. If you want to have a good game of Dota, you’re going to need the tools to combat bad players.

Here’s what you’ll need:
- The WCIII Banlist program, downloaded here
- Approved hosts XML files, for your realm: Azeroth,
Lordaeron, Kalimdor and Northrend. - Global TDA shitlist XML file: tdashitlist.xml
- Shadow French’s Custom Kick hack
Install the banlist program, then under preferences/Online Lists you’ll see a load from XML file button on the lower right hand corner. Add your XML files here, then delete them. You’ll automatically get the latest global approved bans for all the realms you’ve chosen. And, keep the kick utility running while you play and you’ll be able to boot the griefers, feeders, and noobs!
Update: Since ShadowFrench’s website went toast a while ago, I’m uploading the latest version of Custom Kick for download–you can grab it right here folks: w3xcustomkick12001.zip. Please enjoy, and use it for the purposes of good, not evil!
Update 2: You’re going to need ShadowFrench’s CustomKick 12201, so I’m uploading the w3xcustomkick12201.zip here for you to download. I think it works with the latest bnet update?
Warcraft 1.20d Patch Problems?
If you’re looking for the 1.20e patch information, there’s a new post for that!
Blizzard just released the Warcraft III 1.20d patch for Battle.net, which means that everyone playing using no-cd versions of 1.20c has been scrambling to find the latest patch, crack, or nocd. Fortunately for you, I’m going to mirror it here, along with instructions on how to upgrade to the latest version:
- Find your Warcraft III directory, usually C:\Program Files\Warcraft III
- Rename the 1.20c cracked exe war3.exe to war3-old.exe
- Rename the old 1.20c non-cracked exe war3.120 to war3.exe
- Download the Blizzard 1.20d patch and install it
- Download the 1.20d nocd and install it

At this point, you should now be able to play Warcraft III on the Battle.net servers without using a cd. You’ll still need a valid serial number, though, which means you’ve already bought the game. This is just a convenience for us lazy gamers who want to dota without sticking in the Frozen Throne cd every time.
