New Year’s 2007 Resolutions
Every year there are things to be done, but this year I have a few extremely concrete resolutions. These aren’t the kind of things that will make my body strong, or cure me of some minor addiction. Nor are they resolutions to try adventure for its own sake, or to experience new thrills. Rather, these resolutions are the sort that will ensure a life of happiness and a gloriously bright future.
Resolution #3: To pay at least $2000 a month towards my student loans, thus eliminating them in less than a year.

Resolution #2: To increase my skills at the guitar, learn and create new music.

Resolution #1: To give Wendy everything I can, and then a little more.
Cost Of Living In NYC

Choose your own NY adventure–mine is expensive with three kids and swiss boarding school, but I think I forget my wife to be’s fashion needs, hehe!
Move Complete!!
I just finished moving to my new place, which is a very beautifully furnished condo. The furniture my landlord left is quite nice, and will only need to be supplemented by a bed, desk, and bookshelf. There’s a pharmacy and a grocery store five minutes on foot, and bus lines that can connect me with the subway. I’ve also got borrowed wifi from some generous neighbor!
Interestingly, the residents of my area all appear to be middle class white women in their 50-60s, nearly uniformly. I wonder if I’ll stand out in this ‘hood….
I went into the city in the afternoon, which only takes about 25-30m from where I live by bus/train, and saw Matt Damon walking down 5th Ave, which was pretty cool.
Long Hair or Short Hair?
So I just got my hair cut. Here’s a photo of me with longer hair:

And now, the new me:

I think the former picture looks better, but the hair’s nicer in the second.
