Formerly Macromedia
Adobe has finished their takeover of Macromedia by rebranding macromedia.com :

You can read their corporate press release, but I’ll plug the details:
- The acquisition was completed offering 1.38 Adobe shares to Macromedia holders
- Macromedia is no longer on the market
- Product lines remain seperate for now
- Most of the Macromedia execs seem to have retained positions in Adobe
Britney Spears Sells out her Baby
Spears and Federline, who have spent their time sending cease and desist notices to bloggers who publicized their baby pictures, have finally sold out and sent them to People. Now the motivation for those cease-and-desists is quite clear–without the shock value of an exclusive Britney Spears baby photo spread, there’d be little profit to be made.
“Exclusive photos: Baby Love”
“Baby’s first Thanksgiving”
It’s interesting that they use the same photo for the cover and inside for the large spread.
Speed bumps of the future
According to the Scotsman online, the 60-year-old Welsh man Gywn Harvey has invented speed bumps that react in accordance with the driving. Driving slow? No problem, they won’t be there. But, if you’re going fast, prepare for a jolt:
Sensors to instruct the hump to raise can be set to react to different speeds, operate at different times and can even be set to ignore speeding emergency vehicles.
The invention could mean the end to driving down a clear road late at night and being forced to break for a series of speed humps. Gywn Harvey, from Wales, said he came up with the idea ten years ago when he accidentally hit a speed hump too fast.
This could be the end of speed bump signs:
