If you know of any parser generation tools for PHP similar to yacc, bison, or cup, please leave a note in the comments. Wordpress does a lot of parsing of various data, and I think the blog system could be improved with formal grammars and parser tools. If I can’t find anything, I’ll add “port CUP to PHP” to my list of things to do…
