Tempe Preparatory Academy
Charter School
1251 E. Southern Ave.

We love TPA, a “great books” charter school. Our oldest son1 graduated from TPA in 2002 and was accepted to Cornell University, where he is a junior in computer science. Two of our other children attend TPA–a freshman and a junior.

Over the years our children have been educated in a variety of settings, both in Canada and the U.S., including traditional public, private and home schools. We all sincerely believe that TPA has been the best educational experience that they have ever had.

TPA’s superb liberal arts program thoroughly prepares graduates to attend university or college. TPA offers an unparalleled student-teacher ratio of 10-1. Students learn to think critically and to give logical, persuasive expression to their ideas both verbally and in writing.

The exceptionally qualified faculty teach honors-level classes and have a real heart for students and parents alike. Our family is grateful for the privilege of participating in the TPA community of learners.
