E-Telephone Spam
Is telephone spam a new marketing ploy? I registered cornellstudent.info to redirect here the other day with 1and1, my provider, because they currently have a free 25 .info domains promotion. Today I get a call from A+ Hosting who want to host, develop, and build my site. Caller ID is “unknown.” Presumably they watch the new DNS records and call those registrants with telephone numbers to try and get business. It’s not appreciated. If they’d have only checked www.cornellstudent.info, maybe they’d have seen that I don’t need any any help with the site.

Yeah, telemarketing is a pain.
Anyway, just wanted to let you know that you might want to fix those links in your post because for various reasons they’re not working.
Thanks. Forgot some http’s…..
Hi,
You are confusing A+ Hosting with aplus.net.
A+ Hosting (aplushosting.com) does not make sales phone calls. Aplus.net does. They have their own domain registry and thus have access to all information on domain registrations.
