Electric currents boost brain power

Connecting a battery across the front of the head can boost verbal skills, says a team from the US National Institutes of Health. Iyer says more work needs to be done to explain the effect, but she speculates that the current changes the electrical properties of brain cells in the prefrontal cortex, the brain region through which it passes. She believes that the cells fire off signals more easily after the current has gone by.

Electric current boosts brain power…
Of course an electric current will stimulate the brains electrons and protons but there is a huge side effect you guys missed, your brain does not absorb electric currents it transfers them and that current flows with the normal brain currents through the body and brain causing faster reactions, however the one flaw is that the body will become accustom to this which means your body will weaken its own electric current to even out the waves and when you do that you will need more and more electricity to keep it stronger but if those waves of electrical current stop the brain will still be stuck at that low amount of power for quite a while which could very well cause them to live a pathetic and sad life for years at a time.
