   I think it is about time that google makes their PageRank update public information. Webmasters and designers can prepare to optimize their web site in accordance with the PageRank update date. Do you guys think that information will ever be made public?

   I dont think this is in Google way of thinking as they always seem to take the view that a website should optimised for the long term and not specifically for the ranking updates.

   Our online backup site (www.securidata.co.uk) was showing PR5 for the first time a couple of days ago ( lated for a day) but has since dropped back to 4.

   I wonder if this is a pre-indicator of the next page rank is shortly to arrive.
   It would sort of fit with the 3 month time frame of recent updates.

   As of January 20th, there has not been a Toolbar PageRank export for 93 days. The longest time between toolbar PR exports was 111 days. It must be coming any day now. I have seen some of my client’s PR carry over to newly developed pages that went live within the last 2 weeks. However, I have not noticed an increase (or decrease for that matter).     It does not matter at all what the page rank is showing. I have to admit that I am curious about this myself, but when they update the toolbars’ the PageRank has already changed a million times. It just takes so much time and effort to update it for everyone that they only do the toolbar pagerank update every three months or so. The real page rank could quite conceivably be markedly different.

    We had the same issue at http://www.backupanytime.com
    we were pleased to see page rank resurect at the next update.
    It appears to be a common issue and an nfortunate one for those who dont get back.

    I do not know if Google updates the pagerank, but I already has over 1 years with a PR4, every time Google does not put it more difficult to attract visitors to our site, Google wants all the web traffic for them, is not just be left to compete and I am trying to get by with Google Adsense.Pero really earn a pittance if you have it 5 to attract more visitors.

    On the eve of April fools day Google updated the toolbar page rank again on 1st April 2009. This time they filtered more back links. Previously i have around 70 now i have less back links for my site http://www.cybex.in. However site rank well on all top keywords. It seems google backlinks scheme updated too. It still loves article links as i did for my site. I implemented news section and rss feeds on the site which rocks well and may be the reason of ranking my all keywords.
