My dad programs computers and he doesn't even use IE... As soon as he heard about Firefox he abruptly changed and used FF. (I will abbrv. Firefox as FF) IE really really sucks, and it allows hackers to, of course, hack you. Firefox has the greatest anti-spyware, pop-up blocker, and anti-virus system around. And eventough you are using firefox, you still have to use antivirus, firewall and popup blockers, just as with IE. And yes, most newbies use IE, but ALSO people who really know coputers well.
