I am a PC. I have been for 9 years (13 yrs old). I have only once ever gotten the BSOD on a PC and it was Windows ME. At my school, they give us macs to work on. I have had my mac for 1 month now and within the first week I the mac got into a kernel panic (basically the same thing as BSOD except it doesn't tell you what's wrong.) Also to say that a mac doesn't get viruses and that iAntiVirus will protect you 100% is a lie. There will be a new virus out as soon as the last one goes out-of-date. Also Apple says that Mac OS X is built on a "rock-solid UNIX platform that makes it resistant to viruses"...1) UNIX is not rock-solid, in fact it's very patchy at best (that's why there's UNIX-like. 2) Macs are not "resistant" to viruses but they are less prone to viruses because they only own 5% market share. Now I'm not also saying that Windows Vista has been the runaway success of Microsoft but I have never had a problem except for a piece of software that wasn't compatible (but i just got a new driver and it worked fine). Also with Win. 7 out Microsoft is getting even better. I'M A PC AND I'M 13...

Please on soooo many comments above. I am a PC. Have OS X(not OSX) on a VM. Played with it some. And my opinion is it isn't as user friendly as Win. Buuuuuut....maybe it's because I'm use to Win. I just prefer windows. and I repairs comps too, and just like cars, if you repair what is most common that's where the money is. Whatever!

@John Appleseed: There are viruses...there are even worms for Mac OS X, and just like Windows if your are ignorant enough to download them you will get them. If there are no viruses for the Mac then why a virus checker? If there are none then what's the process for? I'm not saying windows is as secure but to say Mac OS X has NONE is a lie. The artical is not to say that windows is better it's just putting Mac OS X in it place when Apple tries to get away with sayin that there are no viruses for it. If there weren't then they would have no need for a virus checker.
