I am a master of literalism and obtuseness. Observe the following conversation:

(20:04:55) Elliott: Juliana is soliciting marriage proposals
(20:04:56) Elliott: Ooooo!
(20:05:47) Juliana: haha
(20:05:54) Juliana: only you can think of such things
(20:06:09) Elliott: hehehe……
(20:09:46) Juliana has gone away
(20:04:49) Juliana <AUTO-REPLY>: no more rings… hehe
I just cannot resist a straightforward interpretation:
(20:44:33) Laffarie <AUTO-REPLY>: leave one.
(20:44:33) Elliott: 1
The reason that this happens is that I have a strong impulsive desire to treat things literally, so long as they can be delightfully misinterpreted as such…
