Michael Jackson’s White Glove for sale on … Ebay!
Did you know you can buy Michael Jackson’s white glove on ebay for the low price of $388,000? For future preservation, here’s the text of the article on the glove’s history:
This white glove with crystals formerly belonging to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee came from the Bonnie Doone Estate in Palomares Canyon, California, in the San Francisco Bay area. There are traces of pancake make-up in the glove. The crystals are faceted like diamonds. The Victorian farm house built in 1870 is pictured below and was in my family for years. When I sold it in 1995, I took the glove with me to Challis, Idaho.
We purchased this glove from the estate of Grammy and Emmy award winning performer Sammy Davis, Jr. at an IRS seizure auction in 1992. The Glove was in one of Sammy’s Louis Vuitton trunks which we purchased at the auction. The article from the Contra Costa Times discusses these trunks and the broad spectrum of items enclosed within. Michael personally presented one of his trademark gloves to Sammy on stage at a tribute to Sammy Davis, Jr. We believe this occurred in the early eighties. If anyone has more information, we would appreciate it. The photograph, which was also from the estate, goes with the glove. Sammy always decorated his dressing rooms with photos of family and friends, many of which he took himself.
We will be selling many personal Sammy Davis, Jr. items on eBay over the next few months. Included in his estate were platinum and gold records, crystal trophies, awards, plaques, personal photos, and stage costumes. There will be enough to put together a museum.
Look at the other auctions for antique, vintage treasures from the estate. I will be selling more every month, such as oil paintings by California and European artists, original works by Pablo Picasso with provenance, cast iron and copper kitchen accessories, molds, weathervane, whirlygig, folk art, and much, much more. Unfortunately, the vintage Rolls Royce limousine in the photo has already been sold.

This is NOT MJ’s Glove. When I was living in East Bay San Francisco in 1993 (in Danville), I saw the Glove that was presented to Sammy Davis Junior. It was for sale with a lot of other items of Sammy’s in a second hand/Antique store. It was framed and had MJ’s signature beside it. No one would have taken it out of the frame that it was put in. Also – the “diamonds” on the glove definitely didn’t look like the one in the photo….the photo above looks like sequins. Definitely the real glove didn’t have sequins.

I also have a white glove that Micheal Jackson wore and gave to me personally the night of the Oscars in 1983, the glove has a stamp on it that says Miahael Jackson Thriller Party.
I met him several times in Beverly Hills during the 1980´s when I used to be a Celebrity Photographer.
If anyone is interested I would like to auction it off.

In 1994, Arfaq made a Black Swarovski diamond glove for Michael Jackson known as “Healing Hands”, which was worn by Michael Jackson on the HIstory Tour. Handmade with 18,443 diamond stones imported from Austria, from the legendary Swarovski Crystal House, the specially formulated adhesive allows total control and movement.
Five 9ct Egyptian gold buckles fasten the glove in place, each buckle is extremely light, thus preventing distortion of the finished glove.
His look inspired this Antonio Berardi catwalk style. Today, sequins work for day and evening wear.

i think mj is a legend as will live for millions of years in our hearts and this music will be around for years and years to come. If you are in the know, then you know there is a secret mark on the real gloves and know where to look for it. All his gloves had this mark added to them when he wore them. It was for this very reason the gloves were marked and there are not many of them.

I think that Micheal Jackson is the greatest singer of all time and there will never be another singer like him, at least not in my lifetime and that is truly what i belive. Michael had a large amount of gloves, all different, the glove on Motown 25 that he used for Bille Jean was very different to all the others, in the style of driving gloves, a leather palm with smaller than usual Rhinestones on the top side, he wore that on the LEFT HAND. Most of the others were worn on the RIGHT HAND. Some had Rhinestones all over, some like the later ones only had them on the top side. Most had clear Rhinestones, but some in the early days also had “oily” coloured ones. Michael also had them in different colours aswell. This socks are the same story, there are lots of different Rhinestone disigns that he wore over the years, some were covered in Rhinestones, the ones for Motown 25 had Rhinestones in strips. THIS glove is the SAME style that Michael wore around the time that he got burned. Anyone who says “Ha thats not his glove” has probably only seen one of the other styles and has not studied them over the years.

Micheal saved people’s lives like a little boy who neede a liver and he found one for him with out it he would have died. That is whay you call a true hero and he deserves all of the praise. We should not foucus on his short coming and focus on what he accomplished and how it affected our lives all over the world. When he died it was liking losing one of my family members as janet put it. Martin luther king created world peace and stop segragation and micheal finished it through his music. Hi..now that Michael is gone, I just hope that all of you will have a little class and not wirte things that are in very poor taste. He was the ENTERTAINER OF THE AGES and anyone who has seen him perform has to admit that there will never be anyone like him again. Regardless of his personal problems, he was a very talented and amazing individual, and anyone who witnessed his performances would agree with me. He will be missed…very much.
