Slideshow: 2005 NYC Trip

Posted in Family, Friends, Travel by Elliott Back on January 17th, 2005.

As you all know, I took a one week vacation trip to New York City to relax before school started. I went on the trip with Kelly, and we had a lot of fun. Strangely, I didn’t purchase much there, only a few sweaters, a nice leather flip-wallet, and some batteries and other miscellanious stuff. But, I did have a great time. We ate out at some of the best restaurants we could find. Bar-89, famous for its bathroom with transparent doors that electronically fog up when you enter, the Minado Sushi Buffet, and a great Korean place. We even hit up the HA! Comedy Club for an evening’s entertainment.

As far as shopping goes, we hit up Lord & Taylor, Evolution, Macy’s, J. Crew, Sephora, Leekan Designs, and many more. Kelly enjoyed the shopping, except for this one really sketchy $1.99 store that I found fascinating for the multitude of useless things inside.

We also visited Flushing for dinner (Hanbat) and Karaoke (Kelly sang the best Twinkle Twinkle Little Star ever), Times Square for the Phantom of the Opera movie (Kelly and I can’t stop singing—-think of me….la la la…), and her old employer Bloomberg (She even brought ME!). Fun fun fun.

    Elliott,
Sounds like you had a good trip to New York, but
from pictures, it looked pretty cold and wet. We are
not wet here in St. Albert , but plenty cold.

Wow!! Grandpa!! That’s cool–I think pretty much my whole family has been on this site at one point or another!

HOORAY FOR HOODIES!!! Go, get in touch with your GHETTO SIDE… Lol..

Please tell me you did not buy fluffy…. No matter what you think, fluffy is not what she seems… It would be best to immediatly abondon what you think is “fluffy”, and burn as necessary.

Wall of immigrants, wall of immigrants, wall of immigrants, wall of immigrants.. HEY!! THERE’S UNCLE GEORGE!!! And… WHOAH there’s AUNT EMMIGARDE too!!!

And hate to break it to you, but fashion model #5 is not, as you thought, a model… She does appear, however, to be an attractive piece of scenery…
