Things I want to do for Wordpress

Posted in Blogging by Elliott Back on February 21st, 2005.

I can’t help but think that a generic baysian classifier would be very useful. Imagine the following:

  • “Spamminess” ratings on all comments, trackbacks, pingbacks, etc in the comments view
  • Auto categorization. You hit post–Wordpress decides where it goes, prompts you if there’s an ambiguity. Either based on categories that you define, or by adding its own new categories
  • Searching and archive views
  • Related posts functionality

I wish I didn’t have so much homework….
