I am on t-mobile in Germany. I used a US purchased phone OTB 1.1.3 and downgraded to 1.1.1 and upgraded to 1.1.2 before I ran Gunlock. Works great!!! Unlocked phone without the hardware.

From to day wee can unlock the 1.1.2 OOTB iphone with the hardware unlock, and i think in several hours wee get the software unlock all information can be found in the forum hackint0sh.org

can you explain further on the whole buying unlocked from germany or france? cost is irrevelant at this point and switching to at&t is out of the question. write back, thanks.
