Warcraft 1.20e Patch Problems?
Blizzard just released the Warcraft III 1.20e patch for Battle.net, which means that everyone playing using no-cd versions of 1.20d has been scrambling to find the latest patch, crack, or nocd. Fortunately for you, I’m going to mirror it here, along with instructions on how to upgrade to the latest version:
- Find your Warcraft III directory, usually C:\Program Files\Warcraft III
- Rename the 1.20d cracked exe war3.exe to war3-d-old.exe
- Rename the old 1.20d non-cracked exe war3.120d to war3.exe
- Download the Blizzard 1.20e patch and install it
- Download the 1.20e nocd and install it
At this point, you should now be able to play Warcraft III on the Battle.net servers without using a cd. You’ll still need a valid serial number, though, which means you’ve already bought the game. This is just a convenience for us lazy gamers who want to dota without sticking in the Frozen Throne cd every time.

Can someone please help me? I had to re-install like 4 times and it gets updated from version 1.07 to 1.22. Once the update is complete, it gives me the error that “The application has failed to start because the application configuration is wrong. Reinstalling may help”.

duh bing, are you using VISTA?
if you do, look for another computer and install the wc3 and crack it…
after that, copy and paste it to your laptop.
BUT I guess if your crack wouldn’t allow in your laptop, maybe, still, it wouldn’t be accepted through pasting…

You need winrar to extract the files.
1. Copy all files into “C:\Program Files\Warcraft III”.
2. Rename your “Frozen Throne.exe” to “Frozen.exe”.

ok..so l wuz about to upgrade from 1.20e to 1.21a…installation starts but on the end an error comes out saying something about worldedit.exe and checksum….

I have 1.21 also. I get the same error message. Is there a hack for that version? If so, would you PLEASE post the mirror, because I lost my disc.
For all using vista on PVPGN or even XP SP2 with DEP turned on sometimes you will get an error that says “memory could not be written”
the fix for this is to turn off DEP in windows. In XP all you have to do is
right click on My Computer go to Advanced tab click on “Startup and Recovery” button and edit the line at the top and change /NoExecute=Optin to say /NoExecute=AlwaysOff. Then reboot the machine
On Vista all you have to do is open a command Prompt and run this line
bcdedit.exe /set {current} nx AlwaysOff
It will then say something like … “Operation has completed successfully” then reboo the computer.

extract it and right click/edit. now set up installpath and everything to your wc3 directory. then just double click it and hit yes. this will fix that problem.
2. now for the rest of you with crack problems i strongly suggest you download mini image so you’ll never again need crack for any version. it can be found at:

when site is loaded just click on “WarCraft 3: Frozen Throne v1.20c [MULTI] No-CD/Fixed Image” and download first file (14-16mb im not sure) extract it and there you have instructions how to use it.

Hmm sorry for the triple-post but this is really gettin’ to me.
I uninstalled the Warcraft 3 expansion and ROC.. then done a fresh installation (all files are in their original state).
I applied the 1.21 patch.. worked fine. Then tried to run the pig_loader.exe and got the exact same error message (duplicate file name or file not found) in a command prompt window.
I don’t know what file it’s searching for but I presume its the correct war3.exe which in the instructions says should be the ORIGINAL. If i’m not mistaked, when you install software, all files are the originals.
Then I replaced the original war3.exe with the WAR3_ck.EXE found in the zipped file and ran the loader again. The same error message appeared.
Whoever has been successful with using the PIGON_LOADER, can you identify what I have done wrong?? Much appreciated!
Ok, I got the patch to work but when i run PIGON_LOADER.exe I get an error message saying ‘duplicate file name or file not found’.
Have I got the wrong war3.exe? The one I am using is 1.49 mb
I tried to do what derick says but the new patch wont work.. (i had already patched it to 1.21 before, but followed the ste-by-step nevertheless).
Anyhow, when i try to run pigon loader it says it cant find war3.exe EVEN THOUGH i have put the ORIGINAL war3.exe into the directory.
It sounds like his method works but because I tried others before i’ve screwed it up. Can anyone suggest how I can fix it or will I have to make a FRESH install and start from the beggining??!

1/ Edit the registry with regedit.
2/ find this place : HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Blizzard Entertainment\Warcraft III
3/ add the InstallPath string key
4/ Change its value to the full path where Warcraft is installed (copied)

My method DOES work, and ISN’T a virus. if you get the .cmd file and right click you can select edit to see exactly what it does.
Basically it loads the game with the cracked .exe (any cracked .exe will work, i used the hellkiller 1.20d ones) then it replaces that with the original 1.21a one so b.net reads the checksum or whatever it needs from that.
hey not sure if this is related… but i got the crack posted by funbob working. but whenever i play ladder bnet games i get disconnected right after the game starts. someone told me that this only happens when you have maphack but i don’t use any of those. is it cause of the cracks? anyone else have this problem?

Stop asking for some kind of method or steps to take to make an older crack work with a new version. Yes updating it and running it still works, but you can’t go on bnet. This is the same as every patch update: when you update you can still run WC3 but you can’t go on bnet. You’ll be able to get on bnet when someone comes out with the new crack, which should be within the next few days. Until then, go do something else. Your life doesn’t revolve around WC3 you know.

ok so everything works sort of, like i can use wc3 w/o cd, but then it says that i have to manually install new patch, even though i did. I just play DotA, and want to be able to use the game w/o a cd, i have the original copy bought for.
It would be great if someone that knew what they were doing, had like a process.

Here are the full working instructions to make Warcraft III: TFT v1.21a play without CD and on battle.net
1. Download http://rapidshare.com/files/13168413/WARCRAFT.3.TFT.V1.18A.ENG.PIGON.BNLOADER.FORV121A.ZIP.html
2. Unzip all the files to your Warcraft III folder
3. Run the rollback setup to restore your original war3.exe
4. Update Warcraft III from 1.20e to 1.21a (this file is included)
3. Run pigon loader.exe
What it does is that it bypass the cd check via the loader file. After that it is still exactly the same as you would if you had inserted the cd.

Here is the steps:
rename the files war3 worldedit to the original files, not the cracked ones.
download the patch, apply the patch, it will write patch successful if both are original.
now do like before, rename to the cracked file and rename after opened = version 1.21.
I dont know what a pigon loader is, but it works just fine for me like before, with the HeLLkiLLeR crack.

does anyone have the original 1.20e worldedit file. when i try to patch i get a message saying that worldedit failed to match the file checksum. i actually own the game but my cds are pretty much unreadable, so anyone who just happens to have the unaltered 1.20e worldedit.exe file lying around and is willing to send it would be a lifesaver.

As i’ve written few posts ago: I did nothing and it works. I simply let the game download the patch and run the patch. Then i tried if it still works and it does – i simply run wc via Pigon Loader (if you’re using different crack check some posts above about Pigon)

I just ran the BN update (went smoothly), then i tried pigon loader and I’m in. No new patch is required.

Seems to be a problem… Maybe Blizzard is being smart and not actually hosting the update file, to prevent people from picking it apart and figuring out how to crack it. Of course, they are probably too concerned with making money off of WoW to do that, but it is a possibility…
Meanwhile, those of us with broken CD’s and the lack of means to buy new ones are stranded.

i am not using a new crack. The old crack still works you just need to update it to 1.21A and use teh same method for 1.20E. my friend tried it and he said it doesnt work for him for some reason but it worked for me. Try it maybe it works for you.
Can anyone confirm this? It seems kind of quick for a legit nocd-crack to come out.
I found out how to crack it. just leave the switch.bat back to the original position where it said you need cd. then download http://public.planetmirror.com/pub/blizzard/war3x/patches/pc/War3TFT_121a_English.exe and install it. then you use do the switch thing and go on and play again.

all this info I am giving you on how to install this patch properly, comes from me, and no one
els, but all the programs you will be installing comes from elliot back(website) his friend
hellkiller(1.20d-e nocd crack maker) and Vandoff(nocd fix for patch) and the origonal patch
comes from Blizzard.

ok so this is going to look quite simular to my origonal but not fucked up looking, and the
url’s are differant because I have sent them to another host because the origonal ones blow
chncks so I re-uploaded them so u can all use them and not have to go through a bunch of ****.

IMPORTENT READ THIS ASAP BEFORE DOING ANY OF THE STEPS!!!!!!!
This nocd crack is ethicaly suppose to be used for people who have the actual cds, but they dont
want to have to go through all the hassle of taking out there music cd there riping or some
thing to play to wc3 which is retarded.
For cheap *** people who cant just buy the game($56+taxCan/$36+taxUS), well this is not for you.
1: because if u dled it, it should of came with a Iso not a cd crack if it came with a cd crack
go looking again.

Now after these easy to do 12 steps you will be playing ladder, dota and what ever ells you like
to play. WITHOUT THE STUPID CD!

speeds:
dile up: 1-6KB/s = 7 hours
DLS/cable lite: 30-80KB/s = 30minutes -1 hour
Cable 1-4.5MB/s= 10-20 minutes

STEPS:

STEP 1: have wc3 roc and ft installed properly on ur HD
STEP 2: have wc3 roc and ft pached with the newest patch currently 1.20e here is a link to the
unaversal patch that has all the patches up to 1.20e in it

STEP 3: make a complete backup of ur wc3 folder usualy here on ur HD
( C:\Program Files\Warcraft III )
and save it any were on ur HD then rename the folder ( WC3 roc ft 1.20e backup ), this is so
when the next patch comes out, you can replace all the files in your origional wc3 folder with
the backup then u can update to the newest patch, then wait till there is a new nocd patch here
that works, then you can paste it in ur wc3 folder. " after " you redo all the backup ****
again.
STEP 4: download elliot backs no cd patch here

and then unzip it into your wc3 directory usualy here.

STEP 5: Download vandoffâs nocd patch fix for elliots patch here,

STEP 7: : right click the wc3 icon on ur desktop and click the change icon
button and on the top of the window that pops up will be some thing that should look simular to

copy that for nxt step.
STEP 8: remove the wc3 ft icon from ur desktop
STEP 9: make a âshortcutâ of the file called,
( PIGON_LOADER.exe )
and place the shortcut on ur desktop.

and go to the change icon button and paste this into the address thing

hey i was looking through this forum because the cd crack posted on this site didnt work for me. i followed all instructions and got the game to open, however the game could not connect to bnet, it kept saying “can not validate game version”.
i then tried the pigon loader and after that, everything worked perfectly. so if you had a similar problem try it out, the link should be posted up there somewhere.
Every time i play frozen using the Pigon Loader, after about 10 mins into the ga,e my computer turns off. Zthis has hepped 4 times (very annoying when ur on bnet). It only happens when i play frozen, using pigon loader. Could someone help me???

yes i can help u because i have tryed and failed to make it work with out masive lag just on the menu part for a long time. from many fourms and research i have found this out that not all version of linux work on any computer if u have a labtop and ur trying to run it on that heres a web site that will give u the right version of linux for ur labtop,

step 1: have wc3 roc (Reign of Chaos) and wc3 expanssion FT (frozen throne) properly installed

Crack and script loader for Linux (Battlenet without a CD). Uses the HellFire crack. Extract all files to Warcraft 3 directory. In scripts, set the variable “GAME_LOCATION” to the directory with Warcraft 3. Works with Wine or Cedega. (For cedega, edit script comments).
Run script terminal, pick TFT or ROC or WC3. Script checks if needs to load ALSA kernel modules, may ask for ’sudo’ password to load module. After the game has started, minimize the Warcraft 3 window, go back to the terminal window with the script, type “yes”, then log onto Battlenet.

Using Wine 0.9.12, Warcraft 3 ROC/TFT plays great on my system with ALSA configured.
By the way, you can configure wine to recognize a mounted CD-ROM. You can use that method to avoid the script altogether.

An ez way is to burn a copy of ROC wc 3 and image it using alchoal 120 or demon tools, this works 100%.
- I got into an issue with the nocd patch because i’m at work tonight working 12 hrs and i forgot to bring my CD. Some reason demone tools or alchoal 120 wont’ work on my dell labtop, so i tried the nocd patch.
- ****, wasted 2 hrs trying to get it work then finally i read over a few websites and found it that the nocd 1.20e no longer works. HOWEVER, there’s a way to still get by it as people mention above by renaming files.
1) Unzip the nocd1.20e and place everything into your warcrat 3 folder.
load warcraft and repeat step 2
2) RUn the game, at the menu screen, dont’ do anything, alt+tab or minimize wc3
3) rename war3.exe to war31.exe or ***.exe ( YOU CAN NOT DELETE THIS FILE, DON’T TRY TO DELETEIT, WC3 IS STILL READING THIS FILE, YOU CAN RENAME IT.)
4) rename wc3.org to war3.exe
5) maximize warcraft and log onto battle net, enjoy…
6) indeed, you have to do this everytime you reload warcraft.
7) rename war3.exe to war3.org
7) locate the war3.exe file you rename eariler war31.exe or ***.exe change it back to war3.exe
If you wana bypass all these steps find a script.

Well I tried out that no cd crack and it doesnt even work the least bit it just gives me an error saying “The ordinal 570 could not be located in the dynamic link library storm.dll.” and for some reason now the original crack I had doesnt work at all at first it just didnt let me play on battlenet now it doesnt let me play at all… well if you anyone has a suggestion as to how to fix this email me urielconsolo@gmail.com.. either that or can someone give me like their cracked version of w3 somehow possibly through someones website that they know… of course ill be needing the CD key as well but Im just going to stick with playing in a private server of sorts if I can find even a half decent one…

I just noticed I made a mistake in the first bat file. Take out the line:
“::START /MIN your title d:\some dir\yourbatch.bat”
it should not be in there. It works with it there, but it is not needed.
Vadoff’s method did not work for me, but Smartass’s method did. I made a batch file for myself to automate the process, I will put the code here in case anyone wants it.
Step by step instructions:
1) Open your Warcraft III folder.
2) Rename the file “war3.exe” to “war3.org”
NOTE – You must not be hiding file extensions to do this. If you can’t see the .exe after the war3 file, go to tools>folder options>view> un tick “Hide extensions for known file types”
3) Download the No CD patch from the top of this page (where it says “Download the 1.20e nocd and install it”)
4) Copy the war3.exe file from the zip file you just downloaded into your Warcraft III folder. You don’t need to bother copying any other files, just “war3.exe”.
5) Now run Warcraft III to check the No CD patch works. It should start up, but if you try to connect to Battle Net it won’t work (can’t find version error).
If the No CD crack did not work then I cannot help you further. You probably installed it wrongly.
6) If the No CD is working, you can continue. Right click in the Warcraft III folder and do new> Text Document.
Don’t bother naming it anything special right away. Open up the newly created text file in notepad and paste in this code: (Note – the website might screw up the formating and add line breaks etc which you will need to remove)

7) You are done now. Double click on launch.bat to start Warcraft III from now on. You can create a shortcut to launch.bat by right clicking on it, and chose create shortcut. You can then name the shortcut “Warcraft III” and put it on your desktop or whatever. Also if you right click on the shortcut and chose properties, then change icon. In the Change Icon window click the browse button, and browse to “Warcraft III.exe” in your Warcraft folder. Then you can set the warcraft icon to your shortcut.
Remember, always use the launch.bat to start Warcraft.
Also remember, this won’t work if you don’t have a valid CD key, so YOU HAVE TO OWN A COPY OF WARCRAFT III.

Stop being a ****** and asking why it won’t work on Battle.net!! Solutions are already posted!!
When you click on Battle.net, the program checks the ‘war3.exe’ file. If theat exe is the cracked copy, then it won’t work. So simply minimize the game, and rename the legit copy back to ‘war3.exe’ and the cracked copy to something else. Click on Battle.net and it will work.
An easier alternative is to make a batch file that will automatically do it for.

Search Hamachi in google and click the first link. It takes about 2 minutes to download and install, and its really easy and straightforward.
What is it?
Hamachi emulates LAN over the internet. So all you have to do is join a network (which plays warcraft 3) and go to “Local Area Network” in warcraft.
In my short experience with it, lag has been practically non-existant. Theres only one thing that sets it back. There arent as many people as there are on battle.net, infact there arent many.
But we can change that! everyone who can’t get on to battlenet for whatever reason, download hamachi! I’ve made a server dedicated to warcraft 3 (as there are many).

Password: warcraft
(note: it is all case sensitive. If it doesnt work, try typing “Warcraft” instead of ‘warcraft’. I forget which it is.)

actually i think if you have the original war3.exe file, you can just delete all the old stuff in your folder and mount the mds file and update and it would work fine, without reinstalling at all. hmm try that.

No, the 1.07 patch is not the 1.20e patch. You need the original war3.exe file to patch stuff
sigh… just type ctrl+f and look up my posts on how to fix it. sure if you dont have the isos it might take 1 day to download em, 1 DAY. but then its all over, you wont have to worry about anything ever again. its not a temporary fix, it will last forever.
and if you dont have valid cd-keys then dont even bother going on b.net, cuz as far as i kno, unless you have a cd-key that is sold in stores, you cant play on b.net.

nvm it worked! I kept on doing the war.org stuff but it didnt seem to work. So i just unzipped the war.org stuff AGAIN and tried the swapping things again and it worked.

Please go to the website that rtx wrote in his post(just look up previous posts) D/l the crack.
2 things you need: original wc3.exe/worldedit and the cracked wc3.exe/worldedit
1) use the cracked wc3.exe/worldedit(that you unzipped into your wc3 folder from the crack) hide the original wc3.exe/worldedit(note: if you used crack before, yours is not the original, find one online)–This step allows you to open the frozen throne software on your computer-note: you are using the original copy of wc3.exe/worldedit to open the ft program.
2)now once the frozen throne screen is up, the program is opened, min the ft window( i hope you know how to do that rite? just click the window hotkey)
3) go back to your wcIII folder, swap the original wc3.exe/worldedit with the cracked verision(2 files) that you hid before. Now hide/rename the original wc3.exe/worldedit.— Note, now you are using the cracked version of wc3.exe/worldedit, this allows u to get into bnet
4) there, you should be able to play like before
5) if you have a copy of ft in your compute(image), once you have done step 1-4 and everything worked. now you can dl the curerom. NOte: you are opening the frozen throne .exe with curerom and select where your image is on your computer and make it a shortcut on your desktop) A new ft icon(with curerom config will be created on your desktop) —This way you don’t need to repeat steps 1-4 everytime you want to play the game, simply click on the curerom ft shortcut that you’ve created and the game works perfectly.
If you still can not follow this, I suggest that you quit wc3 and go see a dotor, unless your thing pops memory leak problems.

basicly what it does is makes it as if you DO have a valid cd, u just reinstall and act as if u did have the cd, update normally and log in b.net normally. i have yet to have a problem.

blizzard.net has changed things so you cant log on with this no-cd patch now. … so new patch needed. without a new one it will just say ‘unable to verify version’ or something to that effect and they want you to run off cd with a fresh install.

well i would like to thank khabibulin for the all options on thing, ive never noticed that so it was never a problem for me so thx khabi. and well if daemon tools isnt working for you i would say try alchohol 120% or 90% or whatever.
and make sure you have reinstalled, it wont work if u just download the mds files and hope it will work, it has to start fresh.
and if anyone cant dl the mds files post here and ill try to find a hosting site and host it temporarily for you guys.

and just make sure your not doing anything else to your warcraft 3, by loading the mds file on daemon, your just gona be playing as if you really have a cd. dont apply any cracks or anything otherwize it wont work.

HOW TO USE CURE ROM!
well this is how i did it.remove all ur cracks and **** and put the real files in ur warcraft map, war3.exe and all that.. install cure rom. START CURE ROM! press next and at APPLICATION SETTINGS you pick frozen throne.exe and NEXT and use “I DO NOT BLABLA USE VIRTAL” and NEXT! and.. NEXT! it will turn green (OK) if its allright.. now i found it it could be some bugging sometimes so i did the same thign with war3.exe so if frozen throne.exe doesnt work just use war3.exe ! piece of cake.. no need to rename files and crack that, replace that and blblabla!
I followed the instructions iwarcraft was working fine.. now it says when i click bnet cant validate the game patch.. i reinstalled it says the same thing wats up with that?

The swap.bat file i wrote there will reverse the positions of the two files. So, all you have to do is doubleclick swap.bat again after you finish playing Warcraft, and that will switch them back. Easy as that
well judging by the way you guys have reacted to previous explonations, im just gona write a tutorial on getting a bitorrent client and downloading the iso’s which u should get over night incase u dont have them.
1.) goto http://azureus.sourceforge.net/download.php and downlaod Azureus. (if u dont use windows u can just go to the homepage and find downloads for other OS)
2.) anyways after u download that goto http://www.isohunt.com and type in the search “warcraft 3″ then when the search results come look for the one that is sixth from the top (as of now) it should be called “Warcraft III – The Frozen Throne” and for some reason it will be under the category “Anime” but ignore that. anywas click on that and then u will see a button taht says download. naturally click on the downlaod button and you will download a REALLY small file.
3.) double click on this file and open it up with azureus. and it will ask u to save it somwhere, doesnt matter where u save it, just make sure u have the 1.13gb of space to put it somewhere.
4.) ok now the download is starting, leave the computer on overnight, come back and tadah u got the iso files to reinstall warcraft 3.
5.) to open the iso’s just use daemon tools or other mounting software, and then if it doesnt auto start up, just double click on my computer and right click on the virutal drive that has the cd and click explore, and u will find a install.exe
before u reinstall it tho you should get a war-cdkey grabber, which im sure u can find via google. if u have trouble just google this “W3XCDKeyGrabber11800″ and you should find it.
get ur cd-keys and write em down somewhere. and follow them steps and i dono its pretty simple.
again if u guys somehow dont understand somthing just specify whats going wrong for you and ill do my best, or someone else might help if im not around.

k well this is alot easier, all you need is your warcraft install files, which u can download online and ur cd-keys. if u have those or can get them u can avoid all the switch.bat stuff

basicly you uninstall ur war, reinstall again, and just follow those easy steps and its all done.
luckily i had my iso’s and my cd-key, if u dont have ur cd-keys just downlaod a cd-key grabber. and if u dont have iso’s just download them with bitorrent.
if theres anything u dont understand i can try to re-explain it in super simple terms.
this took me like 5 mins total and now i just click on my icon on desktop to play

What cyke said works and you have to switch back after using closing the game or before using the game after closing it.
I now have another puzzler. I am running on a dual core rig and WC3 doesnt run well using dual core cpu’s. So i am using affinity masks to be able to make the prorgam use only 1 cpu when running. The problem is renaming the files makes the mask useless therefore the game is not working properly.

You can write a batch file to do it for you, to switch two files around.
1) First put the war3.org from that download into your warcraft iii folder.
2) Open notepad, put this in text:
ren war3.exe war3.bak
ren war3.org war3.exe
ren war3.bak war3.org
3) Save the text in notepad as “switch.bat” in your warcraft iii folder. There’ll be a new switch.bat file there, of course.
4) After you run your warcraft 3 and minimize it, just doubleclick switch.bat to swap the files for you.
Remember to switch them around again after you’re done playing, so the next time you want to play it’ll be back to the original positions.

And what if you simply cannot rename the freaking files. When I try renaming war3.exe I just get a war3.org.exe file which is still an executable, same when renamign the war3.org, I get war3.exe.org. I cannot change the original status of the file. Once an .exe, forever an .exe, how do I fix this?

You will have to do this every time you want to log in, but you might as well make a batch file script to do it for you and susbstitute that for the shortcut you’d normally click.

yes, this morning bnet fixed the crack. The crack does not work anymore.
I DLed this last night, worked fine. But now when I try to log onto battlenet it says ‘Unable to validate game version. Please re-connect to Battle.net or apply the current game patch manually’. I have the latest version, and it was working just fine last night.

step by step guid to making wc3 work without the cd

1.install wc3 roc(Reign of Chaos) and ft(frozen throne)
2. update wc3 to he newest patch (currently 1.20e) using the bnet button with in wc3(it is slower but it does it in order in less u want to do it in manualy wich can take a while it took me 1:20….)
3. go to this website and dl the no cd crack
4. find ur were ur wc3 folder is usualy in program files in less u saved it in another hd, so affter u find it select it dont open it just select it and then press (ctrl-bottem left of ur keyboard) and (C) at the same time or right click it and chose copy.
5. now open the no cd crack zip file dled from here and exract it or paste it in to ur wc3 folder
6.find another place on ur comp that u would like to paste it at(what i did was paste it in C: then renamed it to wc3 back up then placed it back in program files
7.now u can play wc3 roc and ft with out the cd so go to (www.getdota.com) and dl dota and paste it in to (my computer>C:>program files> warcraft III>maps>download
8. now when the new blizzard patch comes out all u have to do is rename the folder wc3 back up (if u did what i did) to warcraft III this will replace all the files in ur wc3 folder and then the no cd crack will be gone u will update wc3 roc or ft then dl the new no cd patch here for (1.20f or 1.21a) what ever they call it.
now u should just read this and know what to do

I screwed up and installed the new patch through battle.net with an old loader loaded. Now I get the “wrong version” error message when I try entering battle.net. Is there anyway to fix this without reinstalling the entire thing? If not do I have to reinstall both RoC and FT?

well there is no rip of the cd but if u can find some 1 who has the cd then u can update ur wc3 and dl this no cd crack and play with out the cd or if u know how to make a image of a cd then u can make a iso image of the cd then ur comp will always think the cd is there when its not then u can update to the newset bnet patch currrently 1.20e and then dl the newest dota map at getdota.com and then play dota on bent.

if it doesnt work then there is some thing els wrong primarly the old no cd crack files may be there still and may **** up the no cd patch u repasted into ur wc3 folder.

ok heres what u have to do bill just folllow this guide
have wc3 roc(reign of chaos)and ft(frozen throne) now all u need if u have both of those installed on ur comp is th ft cd now after that upgrade ur wc3 bnet to the newest patch currently 1.20e after that make sure that u can connect to bnet this way u know there is no other upgrades. then dl the no cd crack files here and paste them in to ur wc3 folder usualy in program files now before you do that make a copy of all the files in ur wc3 folder u dont need the folders ur maps are in and paste those into another folder that can be any were on ur hd,i usualy paste them into a folder i created called (wc3 backup) in my program files folder. before u pasted the crack files in th wc3 folder this way when the new blizzard patch comes out u can replace the cracked files with the origonal files now that u have done all these things then u should beable to play on bnet.

this happens when wc3 cant connect to the internet this could be because u are not conneced or ur fire wall has not allowed access to the internet for wc3 so check ur fire wall thats probably the problem.

Hmm I used daemon tools to install WCIII ROC and TFT. I then updated with the full 1.20e patch. When I go in game it displays that I am running v1.20e. When I click on Bnet it says unable to validate game version, please update manually. Is this a problem with the No-CD Crack or the Iso’s that I got?

I had install the game, the 1.20 e patch, and the nocd crack but when I try to connect to battlenet I recive this error “The CD key provided is currently diasbled(0)(Warcraft 3 Reign of Chaos)”.Any ideeas ??..whats the problem,I have tried other cd keys but the same effect.

find the folder ur warcraft 3 game is in and paset the files in there now before u do that if have a nocd crack on there allready then u have replace those file with ur back files rfom the the folder u had before u installed the crack ur using now if u didnt make a back up well gess what u have to reinstall warcraft then update wc3 ft to the newest patch currently 1.20e then paste the nocd crack file u just dled in to the warcraft 3 folder BUT MAKE SURE BEFORE U PASTE TH CRACK THAT UA HAVE MADE A BACK UP OF THE WARCRAFT 3 FOLDER WITH THE NORMAL BLIZZARD PATCH INSTALLED 1.20E (FIND WC3 IN PROGRAM FILES CLICK ON THE FOLDER ONCE (CTRL+C) THEN PASTE THAT SOM WERE ELSS ON UR COMP THEN INSTALL THEN PASTE THE NOCD CRACK INTO UR WARCRAFT 3 FOLDER IN PROGRAM FILES) and if it doesn’t work on net after u have doen this then u have ether fucked up some were or the ncd crack doesnt work on bnet GL HF GG WTFFWBBQZOMG!!

Guys I found a no cd crack at http://www.hanshyong.com/blog/2006/04/14/warcraft-120d-no-cd-crack-and-patch/. I haven’t tried it out yet, but it sounds like it will work on b-net, or alternatively go to http://www.gameburnworld.com and get the no-cd-crack there, but I dont think it will work on b-net though.
This did not work for me. The NFO file does not describe how to fix this. There were 2 errors that appeared in this order. The top is title and bottom is text. The line separates the two different messages.
