Welcome 2005!

Posted in My Blog by Elliott Back on January 2nd, 2005.

I have no new year’s resolutions for you, but say hello to 2005! In that last 6 months I’ve used nearly 1mb of SQL space to hold plaintext entries on the blogs, 96mb of storage space for images and structure, and countless GB of bandwidth transfer. I’m pretty happy with the results so far. My introduction to blogging has been quite nice. 268 posts, 205,718 page views, and 2 blog softwares later, I finally feel settled in.

I love the trend...

Wordpress is working out great for me, traffic is on the rise, Google adsense is finally getting integrated without ruining the content or layout. Hurray for the blog. Hurray 2005.

    Have you ever been to ‘you tube’? they let you host videos there and you can hotlink them on your blogs. it’s really cool and you don’t have to bandwidth on the videos, cause its free.

    Actually, now I do know. They’re automated bots doing something, for sure. Probably testing anti-spam defenses. I’ve got hundreds of these in the spam logs…. interesting ^_^;

    I may release a flash client soon…

    If only I knew what that meant. Technorati, Feedster, and Google have nothing on “probe for check security plugin,” so I’m in the dark. Maybe in a few days google will have something more for me. Curious!
