Why is the god of war suddenly popular?
The Google 2005 Zeitgeist results for top gaining queries:
1. Myspace
2. Ares
3. Baidu
4. wikipedia
5. orkut
6. iTunes
7. Sky News
8. World of Warcraft
9. Green Day
10. Leonardo da VinciM
As for “orkut,” I think they’re just trying to trick us into actually using their old and broken service. Another rant: who thinks that stealing obscure German words meaning something like “the spirit of the time” is at all cool?

ares is the god of war which is obviosly how it ties into the game
Ares is probably there because it’s a fairly popular Korean manga. Link to MangaNews.net on Ares I would assume this anyways, since I have no other information on a popular trend in God’s of War.
