Wordpress SEO Trick

Posted in Blogging, SEO, Web 2.0 by Elliott Back on December 31st, 2005.

You want a quick little boost to your search rankings? Why not just link to the Wordpress 2.0 release page, where an automatic trackback or pingback will put a link back to your site on one of the most linked pages this month. On another note, go grab Wordpress 2.0. It’s really kick-ass.

Update:

How sad–they removed my relevant and non-spammy trackback. I’ll have to ping them again.

Hey, just checking, does WP-Hashcache support WP2.0? It isn’t listed on the compatibility page at http://codex.wordpress.org/User:Matt/2.0_Plugin_Compatibility

No idea doing that – Wordpress puts nofollow on all links in comments :(
