Zales Sucks Too

After some trouble with buying rings at Kay I recounted that I found a better ring for a better price at Zales. Problem solved, right? I thought so too, especially since they promised a maximum of 10 business days to delivery on their invoice:

10 business days from August 29th is this Monday, December 14th. Worried because the item hadn’t yet shipped, I called Zales to ask them when it would ship. What they told me was that, in spite of the 2-weeks lead time on their email, their supplier would actually take four weeks to ship the item. So, I cancelled the item, and went uptown to the NYC diamond district where I picked out a ring with better characteristics, and watched it get sized and polished on the spot.

    Zales is awful. I had my wedding band resized and whenever I got it back they ruined my engraving inside the band even though I spent 30 minutes stressing about how I didn’t want it damaged. They completely left out a word, so I had it sent back again and then when it comes back the words fall off the band and it’s all scratched to hell and back. I then called Zales Corporation. They said a district manager would call me back in 3 days, when he didn’t call, I called and they said give it two more days. When those days came and went I called back. The store manager called me back a few minutes later and was very unsympathetic as she made excuses for her district manager claiming that he was in a meeting. Well, if it wasn’t for me he wouldn’t have meetings. So now I have to send the ring off again after I may the 45 minute drive there again….I hate Zales. Even if they fix this band I will NO longer shop there. We can take our hard earned money somewhere where we will be the stores priority, not their meetings…

    Zales is absolutely HORRIBLE. They screwed me over, and it was totally their fault. They wouldn’t refund my money in store even though they packing slip says they would. They lie, don’t care about you. I’m filing with bbb.
