I find this very ammusing. So because Internet explorer doesnt properly support PNG files it is more secure? What about ActiveX? Internet explorer allows you to execute ActiveX controls outside of a sandbox on a users computer without any restrictions.

Microsoft is a nazi company and ‘antiquated is more secure’ is a ****** excuse for refusing to innovate. An example would be the exploit in the linked article. All web browsers are found to have holes thanks to a healthy culture of software hackers (the good kind)… Mozilla developers fix problems and security risks quickly while MS issues a warning and sits on it for half a year.
