A Facebook Platform Application
I signed onto the new Facebook F8 Platform on Weekend launch and excitedly browsed the application directory. Out of 100 applications, one of them was stock-related, but it didn't do quotes and just spammed links. So, that weekend I remedied the situation with my own application.
The application uses PHP, mock-AJAX, FBML, Yahoo™ web services, and a customize high-performance hacked version of the Facebook client to push updates to over 3600 users and 3000 tickers in less than a minute.

Early posts on my blog evoked life as a college student, personal preferences, and the frustrations of web technology. Then people actually started reading it.
Now I write about Asia, Books, Celebs, Cornell, and Gossip, across a network of blogs that include guest writers on Gadgets, Video Games, and TV Scams. On my personal blog, I mostly cover technology, from Wordpress to PHP and Apple.
