A Jordanian man shot dead his divorced sister …
A Jordanian man shot dead his divorced sister after seeing her photo on his friend’s camera-equipped cellphone in the latest “honour” killing in the kingdom, hospital officials said Monday.
The unidentified man shot the 31-year-old mother twice in the head Sunday night and then turned himself in to police saying he committed the murder to “cleanse his family’s honour”.
The incident is the fifth example of a so-called honour killing in Jordan this year. Those found guilty usually face sentences of a maximum of one year in jail under Jordanian law.

Oh, my God!
Wow, a whole year of jail time, just think of how much he’d have gotten if his sister was actually doing a sexual act in that picture…. maybe a week?
I don’t see any proof that this is indeed an ‘honor’ killing, or that his sister was doing anything suspicious in the cell phone picture, shouldn’t he have to prove she was ‘affronting Islam’ before he can whittle this down from capital murder to a slap on the wrist?
Otherwise all women are simply just fair game.
Oh wait, this is a Muslim country. Never mind.
I NEED FRIEND
What a load of ****. Muslims everywhere should be outraged at this man, if he still calls himself such. Men are typically stronger and more dominant than women, so women should just stop having *** with these so called Muslims until they get the respect women deserve.
