Sudo Make Me A Sandwich
For all the people that couldn’t see this link by itself, I’m surrounding with a large mountain of text. Yep, the original image is a comic from XKCD, which has a pretty liberal CC license that says “hey link to me plz,” so here is the link that has always been here:

I started using sudo after I got tired of typing in a huge command hitting enter and it saying you must be root to do this then su ing into root and then you can’t hit the uparrow for the command again so you have to retype it all… now its just up arrow, home, sudo

Just FYI, you can also, after running the command you needed to do as superuser, just type in:
sudo !!
!! will then add on the previously used command with the sudo before.
