World’s Smallest Horse / Pony
At 17 inches tall, Thumbelina is the world’s smallest pony. Just five years old, she was honored officially in the Guinness Book of Records as the World’s smallest horse!
Her owners have plenty of cute stories–”When she was young she found the dog kennels and decided she wanted to bed-in with the dogs, rather than with bigger horses”–about her.

omg! i thought they were joking, but she really is small. i’ve seen a lot of small mini horses, including my own two, but not one of them were nearly that short!

Thumbelina is sooo cute we also have one only an inch taller named Bella. She’s a three year old, black and white pinto mare. Maybe they can get together for a play date! Ha Ha!
